Immink in the second part. 167, (1); 79, (1 blank) pp. The seventh edition, published at Amsterdam by S.J. Baalde, with parallel text in Dutch and French, and in the so-called 'Volewijk' translation, and with fine illustrative plates by H. Immink. Most bibliographers see this edition as the only seventh edition. Apart from Perrault's eight fairy tales in prose, this edition contains an additional second part, also with parallel text in French and Dutch, with a fairy tale by Perrault's niece Marie Jeanne l'Héritier de Villaudon, called "L'Adroite Princesse" (The clever Princess). This fairy tale is beautifully illustrated with 4 plates by Immink. Fine copy of a rare edition.
