First edition of a rare album with an account of a travel through Dalmatia and Montenegro by Charles Pelerin. The album contains descriptions of important but until then virtually unknown monuments of the Roman Empire, alternated with information on the history of these monuments and of Dalmatia and Montenegro in general. The work is illustrated with 12 beautiful, mostly coloured, lithographs with views of the monuments, cities, churches, squares and landscapes in those regions.
