First and only, limited edition of a lecture on the value of the art of drawing and painting, given by Gerard van Nijmegen (1735-1808) at the Rotterdam art Society 'Hier door to hooger'' on April 5th 1800. Van Nymegen was a painter, engraver and director of this Society. He especially excelled in landscapes.
