Interesting work on the Dutch-Japanese accounts in the 17th century by Oskar Nachod (1858-1933), at that time considered as the standard work on this subject. This work, originally Nachods thesis from the University of Rostock, was published two times in 1897; the present edition and at Pass & Garleb in Berlin. He also is the author of the Bibliographie von Japan., which was published between 1906 and 1937.
