'Laut verkünde unsre Freude': Rare re-edition of Mozarts cantata 'Das Lob der Freundschaft'

Rare re-edition of  'Das Lob der Freundschaft' by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791). The cantate was originally published with the title 'Eine kleine Freimaurer-Cantate: 'Laut verkünde unsre Freude', with the text by Karl Giesecke. This copy is an adaptated version of the first edition, with the original text of the first edition inserted. H.D. Jäger wrote the text for this re-edition, who was praised for his musical and poetic talents.
   Mozart finished the cantata in Vienna on November 15th 1791, he had been working on it for 5 days. This was at the same time the last work he completed before his (unfinished) 'Requiem'. Mozart played  'Das Lob der Freundschaft' on November 17th in honour of the inauguration of a new freemason's temple, 2 weeks before he would decease. Mozart died as a poor man on December 5th 1791, after being ill for a long time. In 1800, this re-edition of 'Das Lob der Freundschaft' was published by Breitkopf und Härtel (1719-present), a large music publisher from Leipzig. The first edition (1792) was published by Hraschansky in Vienna.
