(14), 409, (8); (6), 335, (22), (2), 361-441, (1) pp. Very much sought after historical work in the third edition on the diocese of Amiens in France by the canon of the Notre Dame in Amiens, Adrian de la Morlière (1560-1629). The first edition was published in 8vo. in 1621-22 in Amiens with the title Bref estat des antiquitez et choses... Amiens . It describes the history of Amiens from Roman times onwards. On the unnumbered pages 336- 357 in the second work Recueil there is an index with descriptions of coats of arms of the noble and important families from Amiens, and the province of Picardie, the final part contains many sonnets written by La Morlière to highlight and commemorate important historical events.
