Early edition of the Psalms in the famous translation of Clément Marot (1495-1544), the well-known French poet and translator of the Psalter in the vernacular, and Théodore de Bèze (1519-1544), together with an early edition of the prayers for the liturgy. The translation of the psalms had first appeared in Antwerp in 1541; his La forme in Geneva in 1552. Binding and title restored. Good copy.
