Complete series of charming drawing and colouring  exercise books, for use at school and in the home, by the Dutch graphic designer Piet Marée (1903-1999). All model plates, in red and black, are projected on squared paper and have a blank squared leaf opposite for the children to fill in with their own drawings. The drawing models are in basic outlines only but accurate and charming, and include a train-engine with the station master, a car, a view of a sailing ship in the river with houses and a mill, etc. The size of the plates is ca. 30,5 x 23,5 cm.

Fine set.- (Wrappers sl. stained and browned, with small library label and stamps).
