Famous edition of the New Testament in Greek, edited by Johannes Leusden (1624-1699), Minister and professor of Greek and Hebrew at the University of Utrecht (1653). Johannes Leusden, a pupil of G. Voetius, determined that the vocabulary of the Greek Testament amounted to 4956 words, of which 1686 occurred only once; and that 1900 selected verses contained the whole number, which were so designated in earlier editions (cf. Darlow & Moule). It is reprinted many times; the first edition of the New Testament in Greek was published in 1675 in Utrecht.

Good copy.
cf. Darlow & Moule 4717n.; NNBW IX, cols. 601-2.
