Rare edition of a very popular introduction to arithmetics with numerous practical applications and at the end a section on clocks (pp. 318-344) titled 'Zugab etwelcher Zahlen zu unterschiedlichen Uhren'. This ninth edition was revised by the author. The first edition was published under a slightly different title: 'Artis arithmeticae facillima methodus, das ist, Sehr leichter Unterricht und Lehr-Art der Nutzbaristen und höchst nothwendigen Rechen-Kunst: in allen zu Erlernung dieser Kunst bestehenden und bestens erklärten Reglen, samt einer Zugab der Zahlen zu unterschiedlichen Uhren ausführlich zusammen gestellt'. (Augsburg, Matthias Wolff, 1719). Numerous editions followed up to the first half of the 19th-century (1838).

Unobtrusive water stain on title and first leaves; slightly browned in places. Very rare edition of a popular work on arithmetics and clocks.
No copies of this edition in WorldCat. Not in Honeyman, Poggendorf nor Smith.
