(2), 144, (2) pp. Rare Swedish edition of a collection of fables by Charles Chrétien de La Jonchère, first published at Hamburg in 1812, probably during the time of exile of the French author, who is also known by some works on linguistics. The fables are partly based on German, English and other foreign fables, and are partly original. A first Paris edition was published in 1814. Splendid copy.
