First edition of this work edited by Captain Henry O'Donnell, who served in Burma from 1886-1889 and commanded Mogaun Field Force. With 12 beautifully coloured full-page plates depicting several uniforms of all kinds of ranks in the army and 33 full-page b/w plates depicting officers, generals, batallions, etc.
