With engraved frontispiece, signed S.F, and with several fine woodcut head- and tail-pieces. 236 (=238) pp. Nicely produced English edition of the Italian literary classic "Il Pastor Fido", by Giambatista Guarini (1537-1612). With the "New Set of Cuts" obviously the woodcut vignettes were meant. Good copy, with the bookplate of Edward Chatterton-Orpen.- (Front hinge broken).
