Nicely produced English edition of the Italian literary classic "Il Pastor Fido", by Giambatista Guarini (1537-1612). With the "New Set of Cuts" obviously the woodcut vignettes were meant.
Good copy, with the bookplate of Edward Chatterton-Orpen.- (Front hinge broken).
