First edition of an account on the French miltary campaign of 1794 in the Low Countries, focussing on the events that occurred during the bombardment and the siege of the city  Grave written by the Swiss military officer Albrecht David Gabriel von Grosz. The fortified city Grave, along the river Maas, was defended by General Andreas de Bon, but after two months of French fire the city was in ruins and was captured.
