First edition of a rare guide book for the Philippine islands, especially Manila, by Ramon Gonzalez Fernandez and Frederico Moreno y Jerez, with extensive descriptions of the city Manila and the several provinces with its topography, tourist attractions, economy, governmental and cultural institutions and a directory with addresses of commercial institutions and governments. At the end a section with advertisements of firms, factories and companies located in Manila. A second edition appeared in 1877.
