An important auction catalogue containing items from the nine scientific curiosity cabinets of Bonnier de la Mosson (1702-1744) including a cabinet of chemistry, pharmacy, drugs, utensils for making instruments, three cabinets of natural history objects, including a rich collection of shells, a cabinet of physics and machinery like  a magic lantern, a collection of prints, and paintings (including "The Goldsmith's shop" by Quinten Matsijs), bronzes, jewelry, and porcelain. Edme François Gersaint also published a catalogue of the works of Rembrandt, as well as a series of important auction catalogues of art and natural history collections.
