VIII, 80 pp. Rare popular school book on Dutch geography, complete with the often lacking newly composed map of the recently founded kingdom of The Netherlands, then also including Belgium and Luxemburg. Although modelled after the earlier very popular geographical school books published by J. ten Brink, the school book now is fully adapted to the new and enlarged geographical situation. Here the book is divided into 18 lessons, one for each province, and each lesson is followed by a list of questions to be answered by the pupils. At the end statistics are given of the populations of the big cities, a distance-table, and geographical dictionaries for each province. The size of the map is ca. 23 x 30 cm. Good copy.- (Spine at the top nibbled at by mice, sl. affecting the upper margin of the map).
