First italian translation of Floccus's legal work by Sansovino (1521 -1586). Floccus died in 1452 and was a laywer and a secretary to the papal court in Florence. This work contains very interesting woodcut initials depicting different professions, sports and past times. The most interesting woodcut is the initial H on page 17 depicting Jeu de Paume, 11 year before the publication of the famous first book on various ballgames by Scaino in 1555.
