With 6 folding tables, and tables in text-volumes, and with large folding engraved map, with the flooded areas coloured by hand in blue, full-page engraved plan, 6 double-page engraved regional maps, full-page engraved plate and double-page engraved plate with ancient relics by H. Hoogers, coloured by hand, and 8 double-page engraved views of the floods by R. Vinkeles after C. van Hardenberg in the atlas-volume. (8), LX, 324; (4), 353, (3) pp. Rare set with the plates here put unfolded in separate atlas instead of inbetween the text. The views show the situation in the flooded lands near Loenen, Dalem, Gorinchem, Kedichem, Rijswijk, Erichem, Beusichem, near Arnhem, and chapel full of refugees at Babilonienbroek. The local maps show the situations of the dykes and the floods in the various areas. Size of the large folding map is ca. 92 x 55 cm. Fine uniform set.- (Bindings minimal rubbed).
