First edition of a curious account of an excursion to the Netherlands and Belgium by Michael Egerton (fl.1821 - 1828). The handsome plates depict coaches, barges, the Exchange at Antwerp, costumes, tombstones and monuments at Waterloo. The trip starts at Ostend, then Egerton travels to Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp; the journey ends at Waterloo.
