Original edition of a lecture held on March 4th, 1834 in the 'Société d'histoire naturelle de Strassbourg' by the zoologist and natural historian George Louis Duvernoy (1777-1855) on the different species of the tiger and felines, especially those named by Johann Hermann (1738-1800) the 'Felis chalybeata' and the 'Guttata'.
Margins damaged; inner margins of two leaves clumsily repaired; somewhat soiled.
