Well produced and richly illustrated English edition with the famous Robinson-illustrations by Grandville. The book contains both novels, "The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe", and "The Farther Adventures of Robinson Crusoe", and is preceeded by the original preface, and a "Memoir" on the book and its author, unsigned.

Good copy, from the library of M. Buisman with his ms. entry on first free endpaper.- (Binding discoloured and sl. dam.; sl. loosening in spine; only minimal foxed).
This edition not in Ullrich not in NUC cf.; NUC lists one copy of ed. 1850; Ullrich I, 58-59 (London-ed. illustrated by Granville of 1840, 1844, and 1859).
