Contemporary green morocco, gilt title on spine with raised bands, both covers blind tooled, bound by R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. Chicago. Title printed in red & black, marginalia and initials printed in red. XXVI, 117, (2) pp. English translation of the letters by Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528) written to Willibald Pirkheimer during his travels, and a diary of his journey (1520-1521) to the Netherlands. The book is very elegantly printed and published in the series The Humanists Library, vol. VI, and edited by Roger Fry (1866-1934). The title page is designed by W.A. Dwiggins. Fine copy with the bookplate of Neva and Guy Littell, president of the binding company R.R. Donnelley, with postcard to C.G. Littell.- (Spine sl. rubbed; front hinge sl. loose).
