Important dictionary with monograms, initials of painters, engravers and draughtsmen by Jean Frederic Christ (1700-1756), professor at the university of Leipzig, in the third French edition. The work was  translated from German into French by Gottfried Sellius. It was originally published in German at Leipzig 1747 and published in French in 1750 and 1754.
