Amsterdam, Wed. Gysbert de Groot, is te koop tot Brussel, P.J. De Haes, (ca. 1695). Sm. 8vo. Preserved in modern wrappers. With popular woodcut of a sleeping man on title. 36 pp.

Unrecorded Dutch chapbook explaining dreams in the form of prognostications. All possible things seen in dreams are directly translated into their meaning in real life, like in a dictionary. At the end a complicated dream-example is told, in which a young man from Dordrecht dreams of meeting somebody in Kampen who gives him some good advice. When the young man then goes to Kampen he finally meets an old beggar who tells him his own dream about a treasure to be found in Dordrecht. The young man coming home starts looking for this treasure and actually finds it.

Good copy, preserved in boards wrappers.- (Outer-pages sl. dust-soiled).
