Rare and apparently unrecorded work by C. Jansz Visscher after plates by J. Callot, originally published ca. 1625 under the title Capitano de' Baroni. Bound with the second state, reworked and published by C. Jansz. Visscher (1586-1652), of 24 plates of beggars and peasants, originally engraved by H. Hondius after the designs by P. Jansz. Quast (1606-c.1647).

Small spot on the title-page of the first work and lacking 2 plates of the second. Very good copies.
