X, 187 pp. Interesting geographical school book, teaching about the islands, mountains and volcanos of the world, like Iceland, Crete, Athos, St. Pietersberg near Maastricht in The Netherlands, Sicily, St. Helena, Madagascar, Vesuvius, Cuba, Java, etc. Antoine Caillot (ca.1757-ca.1830), wrote a number of French school books and children's books. Good copy of a rare school book, from the library of J.F. Buisman with his ms. entry on first free endpaper.
