Five rare works by the Italian orthopaedist Lorenzo Bruni.
Ad. 1: Second edition of Bruni's lecture on the Achilles' heel, presented by him to the Academy of Medical Chirurgy on July 28, 1838.
Ad. 2: Atlas with 16 (of which 2 double-page) lithographed plates which depict several deformities of human feet, hands, knees, legs and heads as well as well as some orthopaedic tools.
Ad. 3: Treatise on the benefit of gymnastics.
Ad. 4: Observations on deformities of hands, feet and faces in the form of short stories of people who have those deformities, illustrated with 4 folding lithographed plates.
Ad. 5: 1842 edition of Risultamenti clinici in which deformities of legs, eyes and the spine are discussed, enriched with 3 lithographed plates, of which one folding.
