Fine illustrated reading book containing short stories, dialogues, verses and moral lessons. One of the plates shows the interior of the "Grote Kerk" at Haarlem where a father is showing his children the ships that conquered Damiate, and another plate shows a little boy kneeling in front of the tomb of Michiel de Ruyter.

Good copy.- (Some sl. staining; few traces of erased pencil marks).
