First edition of a Dutch school-grammar by the Groningen linguist Lambertus van Bolhuis (1741-1826), authorized by the educational society "Maatschappij tot Nut van 't Algemeen", founded in 1784 to promote enlightened education in the Netherlands. The book is printed in Roman lettertypes, and in Italics, and starts with alphabets in 8 different printing types.
