(38), 580, (8) pp. Collected edifying poems by Pieter Boddaert (1694-1760), lawyer and clerk (griffier) of the 'Leenhof' of Flanders, clerk ('griffier') to the Admiralty of Zeeland at Middelburg, here in the 4th edition, for the first time published in one volume as the author explains in the preface, adding that the contents is exactly the same as in the previous three parts; only the order is different. The first edition was published at Middelburg in 3 vols. also by L. Bakker in 1726 (part 1; second ed. 1728; third ed. 1735), 1731 (part 2) and 1738 (part 3). A 'Vervolg' (Continuation) followed in 1752 as part 4 (second ed. 1773). The fifth edition of the collected poems was published in 1765. After the preface follow many laudatory poems by a.o. Pieter de la Rue (1726, 1728), M. Gargon and Petrus Datheen. Good copy.- (Binding a bit soiled).
