First edition of a school book on the history and topography of Naaldwijk, written by Hendrik van den Berg, a primary school teacher from Naaldwijk. The book is dedicated to the municipality of Naaldwijk and contains a long list of subscribers. The author explains in his preface that although the book is based on reliable sources and hopefully will interest a wider public, he intended the book for use at his primary school, so he did not burden the book with notes or source-references.
