Early edition of a popular French cookbook by Louis Eustache Audot (1783-1870). The first edition was published in 1818, the second edition was published under the name of the author in Paris  in 1819. The cookbook was reprinted many times, the 65th edition was published in 1887. At the end 24 pages with a publisher's list.

Good copy, with a small reçu pinned on p. 94 and a recipe loosely inserted.- (Binding foxed and rubbe; fronthinge broken; foxing throughout; some annotations in ink).
