Auction catalogue of the bookcollection of Count Mac-Carthy Reagh (1744-1811). Mac-Carty Reagh devoted his whole life to collecting books and building up his collection. It contained a wealth of the best and most beautiful incunabula, bindings, typographical rarities, books on natural history, etc., which he obtained out of over 80 private collections. A large part existed of the collection of Girardot de Préfonds which he acquired in 1769.
