Title printed in red & black, with engraved allegorical frontispiece by Schoonebeek and 35 full-page engraved plates of thermometers, barometers, hygrometers and scientific experiments probably also by Schoonebeek (only the first plate of the first treatise is signed by him). (12), 138, (6) pp.

Second edition of the Dutch translation made by G. Schoemaker of these three scientific treatise by the astronomer and physicist Joachim d'Alencé (d. 1707). The first edition of the Dutch translation appeared in Amsterdam in 1724, the third in The Hague with Gerard Block in 1738. The original French edition is published in Amsterdam in 1688 under the title Traité des baromètres, Thermomètres et notiomètres, ou hygromètres; second edition 1708.

- p. 127-138: "Aanmerkingen over de verhandeling van den barometer", illustrated with 2 numbered (14-15) and one unnumbered  figs on 3 plates.
