Very attractive modern French A B book, starting with alphabets in printing and handwriting types, in capitals and lower case, after which follow spelling exercices advancing from simple two letter words to words of more syllables. Then from page 16 onwards the illustrated alphabet starts with a half-page illustration and a reading exercise underneath, with the longer words still divided by division-marks. At the end a number of short stories are given for more advanced reading exercises.
